Too close to be comfortable

Today I replaced the brake pads on my bike. To test them I took a ride down to the newly opened coffe and chocolate shop a few blocks away from our office to buy pralines. On the way back i was witness to a dramatic car accident. A few meters from my bike a black car came crashing into a small delivery truck at high speed. The noise from the cash was terrifying. A few minutes later ambulance and rescue services began removing the car roof to be able to get the driver out of the car. Later I heard that the driver had hit a pedestrian just prior to crashing.

Det var ju tur att det inte var du som cyklade där med eventuellt fungerande bromsar någon sekund innan eller senare. Puh.
